ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE: THIS CAUSE is before the Court upon Defendant Yu Gui Ren's Motion to Dismiss Temporary Restraining Order ("Motion"), ECF No. [30], filed on October 31, 2025. On September 22, 2025, the Court entered a Temporary Restraining Order ("TRO") and restrained "the financial accounts allegedly used by Defendants in violation of the Lanham Act[.]" ECF No. [12] at 1. Pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 65(b)(2), the Court stated that the TRO, "shall remain in effect for fourteen days from the date of this Order." Id. at 7. Plaintiff did not seek an extension of the TRO, therefore, the TRO expired on October 6, 2025. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 65(b)(2). Additionally, Plaintiff's Motion for Preliminary Injunction was denied on October 16, 2025. ECF No. [22]. In the Motion dated October 18, 2025, but received by the Court on October 31, 2025, Defendant requests that the Court "[d]issolve the TRO and order the platform to unfreeze my funds[.]" ECF No. [30] at 4. Accordingly, it is ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that on or before November 14, 2025, Plaintiff SHOW CAUSE as to why Defendant's assets remain restrained despite the TRO having expired on October 6, 2025. Plaintiff shall serve Defendants with this Order and all future filings in this case in accordance with the Order Authorizing Alternate Service of Process, ECF No. [11]. Signed by Judge Beth Bloom
