Electronic service of process does not violate any treaty and is likely the most effective method of notifying defendants. The court finds that plaintiff has a valid mark and defendants' unauthorized use of that mark establishes a likelihood of success and irreparable harm to plaintiff's right to control its intellectual property. The court doubts it has personal jurisdiction over a defendant without any evidence that defendant sold a product into Illinois (plaintiff's "information and belief" is not entitled to any weight), and doubts that defendants are properly joined.
