ORDER: On September 13, 2022, the Court received two calls from plaintiff's counsel attempting to clarify the status of this civil action. As the Court explained in open court today, the defendants are not deemed to have been properly served unless plaintiff provides proof of service of the complaint and summons. Service of the temporary restraining order and notice of the hearing set for September 13, 2022, is insufficient service of process. For those reasons, no preliminary injunction has been entered, and none will enter, until plaintiff shows that the remaining defendants have been properly served. Moreover, due to the number of defendants involved in this civil action and plaintiffs ongoing efforts to obtain settlements with the defendants, there is good cause to extend the temporary restraining order [Dkt.
