After considering the nature of the products, the price point, the absence of any concrete evidence of lost profits or high-volume infringement by defendants, the strong value of the plaintiffs' brands, and the need to deter infringement that is easily committed and difficult to stop, the court concludes that $100,000 is an appropriate award of statutory damages. There is no just reason to delay entry of judgment against the defaulting defendants. With only one remaining defendant involved in active litigation, there is no risk of piecemeal appeals raising overlapping issues. Enter Final Judgment Order as to Defaulting Defendants.
