MINUTE entry before the Honorable Joan B. Gottschall: Plaintiff's motion (No. 19) for extension of its deadline to renew its motion for a temporary restraining order is granted. Plaintiff's second motion for temporary restraining order (No. 20) is denied for the reasons, with two exceptions, given in the order (No. 18) dated December 16, 2020. Plaintiff has corrected the two technical defects noted on pages 1-2 of that order. However, plaintiff has given the court no reason to depart from its rulings on pages 2-5 of the order. Indeed, plaintiff offers no new legal argument at all. See ECF No. 20 at 1 (incorporating memorandum of law in support of first motion for a temporary restraining order). Nor has plaintiff modified its proposed form of temporary restraining order to conform to the court's rulings. Plaintiff's counsel is cautioned that any future motion for a temporary restraining order, any motion for preliminary injunction, and all proposed orders submitted to the court must either conform to this court's rulings in the order dated December 16, 2020, or explain why those rulings should be reconsidered under the applicable procedural standard. Filing a noncompliant motion or submitting a noncompliant proposed order will result in the imposition of monetary sanctions under the court's inherent authority and for failure to obey a pretrial order.
